I am looking for some freelancers to give me some tips, on how you do it? Where exactly did you start and how did it go at the beginning when you started freelancing.

To start with just go to the job boards on forums and look for avaliable design jobs and once you have done a few of them then you start to get recommendations and build a portfolio and the larger that is the easier it is to get hired!
