If you are looking for another source of clients, and what freelancer isn't...?

Stop in over at http://www.sitesalestalk.com/

Their forums are geared toward discussions about buying and selling sites. They have a related site for those that are interested in buying and selling sites/domains.

I have no connection to sitesalestalk.com except that I have found that posting at forums is one of the best ways to get new clients (Yup, that's one of the reasons I'm here). By answering questions and posting info you give people a chance to find out who you are and what you know and don't know.

Sitesalestalk.com should be a good place as it grows like freelance talk will. Many new site owners are going to need a programmer at some point and you can make some good contacts there.

I'm going to try and bring some of their traffic over here also.

Next to search engine optimization, forum posting is the most effective form of Internet marketing (IMHO).

Thanks,
Christian

I think you will like it, if it is still there...

You might not want to post replies that are just small comments like that.... :-)

This post was made last February, and when you post to a message it often may trigger an email like it did with me to return to the site.

I'm not saying don't post, but please try to have a question or a real comment of somekind when you post.

This more important when the post is so old. It will now be at the top of the list and there is nothing much that has been added..

I'm sorry and I hope you understand and will not take this the wrong way...

Thanks,
Christian

I understand :)

I hadn't noticed how old this particular post was. I normally try to avoid posting one liners.

take care,
