Hi, guys,

I'm thinking of opening my own freelance web site .. so I would like to hear what exactly you would like to see on that kind of a website..

I mean I've checked out a lof of websites of this category and none of the really fits my needs .. so I want to create a brand new site that would have all the best features of the existing sites.

Are there any ideas what should be included there?

I know there should be a forum + bidding place + probably a place for some articles .. and I'm thinking of adding some kind of project management area as well.

every post is appreciated. . ;)

something to convert to/from different currencys - i.e american dollars to UK £ - this would be really handy, and i never know really what i'm getting paid on these sites...

some sort of idea on roughly how much different projects are worth would be handy too... most projects fit into a few different categorys so you could have an example breif for a project, followed by an example bid & price... that would really help the newbies get started

A project manager, like the one in PHPGroupware, would be valuable, thoug i have found that it takes a while for people to get into keeping close track of their time and progress.

thanks for the replies, guys .. actually I expected to see a storm of replies, lol ..

at the moment I've finished the ER modelling step of the project .. in the first version of the scripts there's gona be no project management support, I guess I'll add that in the later versions.

Thanks again for your replies!
