Unlikely. But according to this article they say Open Source may force them to do so. I don't see it happening, but you never know...

MS is very openly firm against open source, software. They, MS, would never let the open source community win that easy.

Like gish said, the MSDN is very closed up and the chances of much freelance stuff getting through in the end is very slim. MS has always been (and will most probably always be) very objectives-based and it is very contrary to their usual policy to start using 'free' and 'open-source' stuff.
