Hello everyone,

I was wondering how you all ended up doing freelance work - no matter what that is.

I'm fond of writing articles in my spare time and managing a few media sites, but it is something I wanted to do since I was 6 years old.

I know some of you may do freelance full-time, some not. The question is a bit different: not why, but how? Did your friends tell you you were good at something and you should persue this or else?

Best,

Actually...

I m a team player but a bad soldier. I dont mind doing grunt work but after a certain point I need to go beyond my limits and see what I can do.

During my first work since I finished school I ate lot of **** from a boss who was hyppocrit and very toxic. And I realised, I was working my ass off (the hours were not fully paid) to provide him with something so he could make some money out of it.

So I quit, did some consulting and studying for about a year. And now I m genuinly interest to see what is out there for me.

I have no reputation and my marketing (and people skills) are mediocre if not rusty but hey!! I m totally willing to make mistakes and learn with it.

Now I m starting this freelance thing out of passion and desire to see if I can adapt myself to the situation and find my own way in this. I want to be my own man and live on my talents. And who knows, maybe have my own company one day and hopefully be a better boss that this guy I worked for.

It is going to be a hell of a ride but I wouldnt want it any other way.

So...that is my story.

:)
